At DTV Consultants, we create and employ various tools and forms of smart technology to tackle many challenges in the field of traffic engineering. In particular road design and vulnerable road users such as pedestrians and cyclists.

A special feature of DTV Consultants is its extensive educational experience: we organize and teach over 50 different courses in the field of traffic and transport in the Netherlands on Bachelor and Bachelor-plus level. Our mission for capacity building activities is to teach professionals in such way that they can apply to their own local situation the following day.
We have knowledge on how to develop, implement and accredit educational programs for professionals. We have certified training programmes in the Netherlands – ie on road safety auditing, cycling infrastructure and traffic planning, but also organized trainings and certifications for the European Commission and clients in Africa and Australia.
Through DTV Consultants’ sister company called “NOVI Traffic and Transport Academy” educational programmes are offered. This is an accredited institute for professional education. The NOVI curriculum was developed in co-operation with partners from traffic sector and comprises practice oriented courses in the field of traffic and transport ranging from upper secondary vocational education to bachelor level. The curriculum is acknowledged by the Dutch Minister of Education, Culture and Science.

ISO-CERTIFIED
In 2011 we updated our existing quality control system to conform to the NEN-EN ISO 9001:2008 guidelines and have since been successfully audited by TÜV Rheinland. In 2015, the ISO guidelines were revised and updated to NEN-EN ISO 9001:2015.
We have since revised our quality control system and were again successfully audited by TUV, resulting in DTV Consultants being awarded an NEN-EN ISO 9001:2015 certification in July 2017.
ISO continues to be a highly valuable tool as it provides an international standard for quality control and management. At DTV Consultants, we remain committed to adhering to its guidelines in order to ensure optimal quality and service.
